The innovative Shopping Resort, which will open in 2021, will be located a short distance from the Pompei’s archaeological site and will be the largest shopping center in southern Italy.
More than 200 brands of the most important national and international griffes hosted on several levels, a Marriott hotel, a cinema with 8 rooms, an auditorium with 1,100 seats, surround an outdoor amphitheater characterized by a spectacular “dancing” fountain.
The project includes an ultramodern multiplexcinema that will be open beyond the opening hours of the shopping centre and a Marriott hotel of about 105 roomswith finely furnished roomsand equipped with electronic devices.
The intervention is also characterized by the attention to sustainability in terms of energy efficiency, use of materials with very low environmental impact which will contribute to achieve BREEAM certification.
The 5,000 m² public park, which surrounds the buildings, will be characterized by a series of green and planted hills in order to screen and create an island of thermo-hygrometric and acoustic well-being.The rooftop will be assigned as an urban park for recovering the surface occupied by the building and for reducing the environmental impact, as well as offering special views of Ischia, Capri and Vesuvius islands.
